Channel Mechanics Win SME Enterprise of the Year Award!
On Friday the 13th of May, the Channel Mechanics team dusted off their dancing shoes and headed out to paint the town red! It was a delight to join our Technology Professional Peers for an esteemed night celebrating this year’s ITAG’s Excellence Awards in the Hardiman Hotel in Galway. With just under 300 attendees, the ballroom was certainly bustling with talent. An evening filled with outstanding fashion, the gentlemen all decked out in tux’s, while the ladies sported an array of colourful gowns. Channel Mechanics were delighted to win SME Enterprise of the Year Award, and to take the trophy back to our headquarters in Galway!
Celebrating 21 years in running, the ITAG team certainly know how to throw an awards ceremony! The theme underlying each award was excellence and we can’t think of a more fitting term to summarize the night! Established in 2000, ITAG aims to develop technology innovation along the AtlanTec Gateway. Furthermore, ITAG operates by connecting members through networking events, tech talks, social events and hosting upskilling opportunities. ITAG is now home to over 100 member companies, the majority of which are based within Galway.
Speaking about receiving the award, Channel Mechanics CEO commented:
“To be recognized as Enterprise of the Year in the SME category at the ITAG awards is incredibly special for us in Channel Mechanics. It showcases how far we have come from our start-up days in NUI Galway. We now have the world’s leading vendors utilize our channel program automation platform to ensure ease of doing business for their partner ecosystems. Having more than doubled the team over the past two years, along with exponential customer growth, is certainly something I’m very proud of as CEO and to be recognized by the ITAG committee is very rewarding for the entire team.”
Channel Mechanics took home the trophy for SME Enterprise of the Year, recognized for outstanding contribution as product and process innovators, as a centre of technical excellence, as an employer and a driver of regional economic growth.
