New channel enablement service benefits from investment and business support from the Irish Government’s development and growth organization.

Channel Mechanics, the company behind a totally new cloud-based channel enablement service, developed and launched to help manufacturers maximise their distribution and reseller relationships, has today announced that it has received High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) funding from Enterprise Ireland, the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets.

Channel Mechanics, founded by a team highly experienced in channel operations, channel sales, channel marketing and channel infrastructure, provides “Channel Enablement as a Service” capabilities for manufacturers that use distributors and resellers in the sales and marketing of their products and services. The company, with offices in Galway and Surrey, was seen by Enterprise Ireland as an ideal candidate to receive HPSU funding due to its innovative solution to the marketplace and its high growth potential that will help Enterprise Ireland meet its mandate of creating sustainable economic growth, regional development and employment.

Speaking last month at Enterprise Ireland’s Start Up Showcase Class of 2011 event at Mansion House, Dublin which was attended by the Irish Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mr. Richard Bruton, T.D., Andy Simpson Co-Founder and CEO at Channel Mechanics said:

“We’re delighted with the investment and ongoing support we’ve received from Enterprise Ireland. To be viewed as a start-up with such high growth potential and receive such significant investment and support shows that we’ve developed a truly exciting new solution for the marketplace. We’re a senior team with enormous amounts of experience working in the channel, and the solution really is the brainchild of these years in the industry. We believe we have pinpointed a ‘pain-point’ within the market and we have something that takes advantage of new cloud based technologies to take issues away and revolutionise the way manufacturers manage and implement channel campaigns. The Channel Mechanics team has vast experience of channel issues, and their product offers something unique that promises to improve sales channel processes dramatically, said Greg Treston, manager High Potential Start Ups & Scaling Division, Enterprise Ireland. We think that this product will appeal to many of the world’s leading manufacturers and we see Channel Mechanics as a candidate for rapid growth with the potential to create quality jobs in Ireland.”
