Channel Mechanics, a leader in Channel Program Automation, delights today in announcing our latest appointment, with Anthony Neville taking up the position of Software Developer.
A Mayo native, Anthony graduated from the Technological University Dublin in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computing – Software Development. During this time he completed an internship with the Department of Agriculture, becoming part of the QA team. This gave him a great understanding of the testing process within the Software Development lifecycle.
After completing his studies, Anthony began his professional career working for PrePay Power as a Full Stack Software Developer. During his two and a half years here, he worked on multiple projects proving great experience in C#, Unit Testing and SQL.
During the peak of the pandemic, Anthony decided to undertake an MSc in Software Design with Cloud Native Computing at TUS. He completed his studies in the evenings and on weekends while continuing to work full time. Upon completing his Master’s, Anthony knew he wanted to gain more experience in cloud development, and joined Retail inMotion to gain more practical knowledge on real world cloud projects.
During his free time, Anthony enjoys travelling, whether that’s in Ireland or abroad. And while his love for travelling was unfortunately impacted by the pandemic, he’s now keen to make up for lost time. Being from Mayo, Anthony is a huge supporter of the county team and believes that 2023, will finally be their year #Mayo4Sam
Speaking about the appointment to his new role:
“I feel very fortunate to be joining the Channel Mechanics team. This feels like a fantastic time to be joining this already very impressive company. I’m more than excited to contribute to Channel Mechanics continued growth trajectory going forward”.
