Channel Mechanics is delighted to today announce our latest appointment. Arijit Chakraborty joins our EMEA Team, taking up the position of QA Engineer.
Originally a native of Kolkata, West Bengal, a state in Eastern India, Arijit now resides in Galway. His path to Channel Mechanics began when he completed a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Here college provided him with the perfect platform to grow as a person by getting involved in multiple festivals and competitions, while working with various creative minds for accomplishing different tasks in terms of implementation.
Following on from this, Arijit took up a college placement with Accenture as a test engineering analyst. Here he worked within the QA space, getting to work on projects with Telecom giants Vodacom and Vodafone UK. In 2019, he relocated to Galway to commence a Masters in International Management from NUI Galway. In addition, Arijit completed a Global Leadership Program from the Toulouse Business School in France.
Speaking about his appointment to QA Engineer, Arijit commented:
“I’ve been on an incredible journey to date. Firstly, by having the opportunity to work in various projects. And secondly, with the vast array of people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Working with people from different cultures provides me with the international exposure I have always aspired to. And I look forward to the next chapter with Channel Mechanics.”
He is a big football fan having played with his College Football team. In fact, he captained the winning football team in the Vodafone tournament organized by Vodafone, while at Accenture.
