Catherine Douglas, Sr. Customer Success Manager

Channel Mechanics delights today in announcing the appointment of Catherine Douglas. Catherine joins the team in the position of Sr. Customer Success Manager. 

Originally a native of Cork, Catherine graduated from University College Cork with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Following this, she subsequently moved to Galway to further her studies at the University of Galway (formerly NUIG), obtaining a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management. Upon completing her studies, she opted to continue living in the city of Galway, and now considers it home.

Catherine brings to the team 13 years of experience working within a multinational company. Her background consists of a blend of both technical and business environments. Having worked formerly in Avaya, she has held roles such as Technical Validation Specialist and Global Customer Account Management. More recently, she held the position of Business Analyst within Avaya. She has vast experience in assessing customer needs to understand problems and determine workable solutions within a highly complex IT architecture. In particular, she prides herself in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships, along with the ability to coordinate with other functions within an organization. Joining the Channel Mechanics team is a welcome opportunity for Catherine to learn as well as grow her existing technical and business expertise.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys being outdoors surrounded by nature. She pursues this passion by spending time gardening, and always looks forward to Springtime when everything starts to bloom and her hard work pays off. She also has a keen interest in interior design, visiting furniture and home accessory stores to see the latest trends. When time permits, she loves to take a trip to the Costwolds to relax and unwind.
