Daniel McCormack, Sr. Customer Success Manager

Channel Mechanics today announces the promotion of Daniel McCormack to the position of Sr. Customer Success Manager.

Throughout his time at Channel Mechanics, Daniel has contributed to the growing Customer Success function. With his two primary professional motivations being building relationships with people and problem-solving, he has excelled in his role. His main focus has been to understand his customer’s business goals and align his efforts with those. To this end, and with the support of Channel Mechanics, he also picked up Channel Manager and Project Manager certifications during this time.

In light of his outstanding contributions to the team, Daniel was promoted to the position of Sr. Customer Success Manager in November 2023. His ongoing goal will be to continue to drive customer retention through best-in-class customer onboarding, training, and support, catered to the specific needs of his customers and their Channel Automation lifecycle.

Originally from Roscommon, Daniel studied at St. Patrick’s University in Maynooth. Here, he received his Bachelor’s degree in English and Theology and his Master’s degree in Human Rights, Society, and Christianity. Shortly after graduating Daniel embarked on his next adventure, spending almost a decade in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. While abroad, Daniel enjoyed a career in Education Management in the EdTech industry. He subsequently gained experience in several roles including Teacher Trainer, Curriculum Developer, Regional Manager, and Academic Coordinator.

Upon returning to Ireland, Daniel decided to pursue his newfound passion and sought opportunities in the tech industry. Channel Mechanics and the wider channel industry seemed the perfect synergy of these goals, interests, and skillsets, for the next step in his career.

In his free time, Daniel can typically be found reading a book or watching a movie. He also enjoys hiking, running, or catching up on his favourite sports, especially MMA.

 

Speaking about his promotion, Daniel commented:

“I’m very grateful to be progressing my career within Channel Mechanics as a Sr. Customer Success Manager. My time here so far has been very fulfilling and an incredible learning opportunity. By collaborating with expert teams in all things Channel, SaaS, and Customer Success, I have been able to pick up new skills and insights almost every day. I’m looking forward to contributing towards Channel Mechanic’s ongoing success by putting our customers first and continuing to align their business goals with our own.”
