With our continuing expansion in 2020, Channel Mechanics is delighted to announce the promotion of Denis Cronin to the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Denis commenced working with Channel Mechanics when our doors first opened in 2011. In his role as Software Development Lead, he managed the product technical team. Subsequently, Denis played a key role in the exponential growth and development of our SaaS platform. As such, it is with great pride he takes on the position of CTO. Taking on this position, Denis brings a wealth of software engineering management experience to the team, including architecting and developing web, cloud, SaaS and enterprise applications.
Originally from Cork, Denis studied at University College Cork. It is here a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems was conferred upon him. Subsequently, he relocated to Galway, where he now resides with his wife and three children. Denis has gained vast industry experience in the information technology and services sector, where he engaged as a consultant at various companies including Qantas, Standard Life, IFDS and Storm Technologies. Denis has exceptional client-focused vision, while simultaneously balancing ROI on all projects.
Outside of work, Denis can be found either watching sport, thinking of sport or coaching his local kids teams…are you noticing a theme here?
