After her time here, Eimear opted to move into IT, spending six years working as an ERP Functional Consultant for Carillion and CBRE.

After 17 years abroad, Eimear returned to Ireland in 2021, where she undertook a HDip in Software Design & Development at the University of Galway (formerly NUIG). As part of the HDip, she joined Channel Mechanics on a work placement, subsequently becoming a permanent member of the team upon graduating in 2022.

Speaking about Channel Mechanics, Eimear commented:

“I’m delighted to join Channel Mechanics having completed my HDip industry project for them. Everyone I’ve met so far has been so friendly and welcoming. And its so refreshing to work for an Irish company after so long living away. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a knowledgeable and innovative team and excited to see where my new career in software development will take me”.
