Channel Mechanics today delights in welcoming Nicola Finn to the Channel Mechanics team. Nicola takes up the position of Business Analyst in our EMEA headquarters.
A native of Galway, Nicola graduated from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology with a BSc in Business Information Systems. She brings with her a wealth of analytical experience, having worked in the Healthcare sector for over five years. Upon graduating from GMIT, Nicola spent a year working in the Bon Secours Health System as an Administrative Assistant. Here she was responsible for clerical duties, along with dealing with patients enquiries on a day to day basis. Following on from this, Nicola took up a role as a Quality Information Systems Technical Specialist with Health Care Informed. During her time here, she worked closely with clients in order to develop customized reports, along with developing their information systems. As a result, she worked on development of technical project planning including process mapping, timeframes, dependencies and requirements.
A sports fanatic, Nicola plays Gaelic Football and helps to train the underage Camogie team for her local club. In the same vein, when not working you will find her enjoying live premiership football games. Indeed Nicola closely follows Liverpool’s many triumphs! She also enjoys relaxing and watching a good comedy on Netflix as well as attending live music events.
Speaking about her appointment:
“I am excited to be joining the Channel Mechanics Team. It’s a whole new industry for me and I’m looking forward to all the learning opportunities that come with it. I will be joining Channel Mechanics as a Business Analyst. And while the team is relatively new, I am eager to bring my past experience to the forefront. It’s exciting to see how far the company has progressed in a short period of time. Certainly, I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds”
