Channel Mechanics

Channel Mechanics

Jim Kelly, Head of Business Analysis

Today, Channel Mechanics welcomes back an old friend, with the return of Jim Kelly to the team.

Jim takes up the position of Head of Business Analysis in our EMEA headquarters in Galway. While this is a new position for the company, Jim previously worked as a Program Manager and Professional Services Manager, within the company.

Jim brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the ICT product development space. With this comes a long track record of innovation and delivering successful products/applications to market.

He previously worked with a number of world class companies across Computing, Telecommunications and Enterprise software applications. This included time in Nortel, Avaya and Tellabs. Most recently he joined AMCS Group, a leading global technology company providing innovative solutions to the environmental services industry. During his time with AMCS, he led the Global Services Engineering team. His experience includes playing key leadership roles in Product Management, Program Management, Business/Systems Analysis and Professional Services.

Originally from Tipperary, Jim ventured west to complete a degree in Engineering at the University of Limerick. During his time here, he met his future wife Margaret. They continued the journey west to Galway a few years later and stayed despite the “Wild Atlantic Way” weather that we enjoy here!

Outside of work, Jim is an outdoors activities enthusiast, who likes to travel and pursue hiking, cycling and water-sports with family & friends.

We are certainly excited to have Jim back working with us!

Speaking about his return to Channel Mechanics:

“I’m delighted to be back working with Kenneth and the ever expanding Channel Mechanics team. Even after the first week, I see that, even though the size of company has doubled since I worked here previously, it’s retained the “can-do” culture and excitement of a start-up. As Channel Mechanics continues to rapidly scale-up, this brings with it the need to manage the customer business requirements in a robust & consistent end-to-end process. An area growing in criticality and one I’m excited to be heading up. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone in the team as well as our customers on the journey to ever more efficient Channel Program Automation.”
