Channel Mechanics delightfully announces the newest member to our growing team, as we say welcome to Maureen Donohoe. Maureen joins our EMEA HQ taking on the role of Snr. Business Analyst.
Born in London, to Irish parents, Maureen relocated back to Ireland with her family just in time to start secondary school. Spending time in both Meath and Clare, she later moved to Galway to attend college. It is here she graduated from GMIT with a Diploma in Business Studies. Following on from her Diploma, she progressed to finish her qualifications in Accounting (FCCA) in practice.
With her qualifications secured, Maureen decided to take a year out to travel across Australia and New Zealand. Returning to Ireland, she joined Nortel as a Finance Manager, enabling her to work in the UK, Israel, and Italy as a Controller and in the Financial Planning area, an exciting point in her career.
Maureen then took the leap into Sales Operations, after training in LEAN Six Sigma techniques. In this arena she has worked for the past 12 years with Nortel, Avaya, HP, and NCR. Her experience is vast and incorporates Planning, Forecasting, Deal Reviews, Marketing, Go to Market assessments, Channel onboarding, Reporting, Sales Compensation and anything else needed to make Sales successful, both in Direct and Indirect models.
Speaking about her appointment to Snr. Business Analyst:
“I’m really looking forward to working with Channel Mechanics. Their offerings are game changers for anyone selling through an Indirect sales model. The solutions free up valuable time and resources for Vendors and Resellers, allowing them to focus on growth. I’ve been lucky to work with several of the Channel Mechanics team in the past. They are all vastly knowledgeable in the channel space, and I cannot wait to get started. It’s wonderful how welcome everyone has made me feel already.”

Outside of work, Maureen continues to invoke her love of travel. In addition, she has a passion for music and loves being able to attend concerts/theatre. But with Covid, it has meant more of her time on her other passions including reading, walking, swimming and just catching up with family and friends, when she can. She is also a member of the Corrib Lions Club and tries to do as much charity work as possible in her free time.
